— Stella Adler

A LITTLE ABOUT DARA

Bringing what she has learned throughout her career so far back to Lake Norman, Dara is ready to take your love for the arts to the next level. Focusing on TV, film, and theatre, Dara has a unique individualized process to help actors find their one-of-a-kind voice and develop strong characters to tell stories for the world.
"I want my students to find out who they are, and most importantly, what they are capable of."
Head of Casting at Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network
"I first met Dara when she did a pilot for us at Nickelodeon while I was Head of Casting. When I moved over to Cartoon Network, I immediately brought her in for the head of the network and we made a talent holding deal with her, which subsequently led to her starring in a pilot for us at Cartoon Network. Although neither of the shows moved forward to series, Dara's talent was very clear. She is a modern day Lucille Ball with a great look and spot-on comedic timing. In addition to her acting abilities, Dara is smart, respectful, reliable and always takes initiative and tries to be one step ahead. I'm excited to see her evolve and grow in this industry. I know she will be successful with whatever she sets her mind to."
